Steelhead Trout - Pound for pound, the Steelhead Trout is one of the most incredible fighters to be caught on fly or spin gear. These sea-going rainbows arrive in droves behind the fall salmon in November, continuing through the Spring. On the Feather River, there is a wealth of good steelhead in the 1-6 pound plus range to be tapped from the middle of October through March. The lower sacramento river from anderson to los molinos offers steelhead fishing from oct. through march with the best fishing typically occuring as the salmon spawn. For the best opportunity at catching an adult steelhead, the Trinity river is the place to be. Late fall through winter this river gets packed full of both hatchery and wild fish. We offer fly fishing or spin fishing trips throughout the season. Expect good action and savage bites!

Striper -For great action, awesome grabs, fantastic weather, and fine eating fish, you can't pass up spring striper fishing! We generally concentrate on the spring migration near Colusa Ca during April and early May. Our primary methods are speed-trolling diving lures, fly fishing with streamers or drifting live bait. These trips are all done out of jet boats and always sell out, so book those dates early! |

Wild Rainbow Trout - The wild rainbow trout population on the sacramento river is absolutely world class. This is a year 'round fishery with great action to be had every month of the year. We primarily target these fish with fly tackle aboard custom drift boats for an amazing fish-catching experience. During the spring there is an abundance of bug activity to get the fish feeding heavily. This is shorts and tee shirt fishing! During the fall and winter the trout key in on the salmon eggs being dropped from the spawning Kings, making them easy targets for our fly fishing clients throwing egg imitations. These are usually the biggest, baddest fish of the year. The trout here average a hefty 15-16" with plenty of 18"+ trout to keep us on our toes every day. With all of the different strains of wild fish from the several unique tributaries you'll notice that no two trout around here will look the same.
