FALL TROUT AND STEELHEAD FISHING!! So here's the scoop; this season above Red Bluff there will be no salmon fishing allowed, period (we will have a salmon season, just lower in the river starting Nov. 1st). What this means is very few jet boats and totally unmolested salmon in a very troutty section of water. This is great news for fly fishermen who want to fish "Alaska style" behind spawning salmon with egg imitations. Of course less fishing pressure equals better fishing. Throw in another great run of steelhead and we've got the makings for a banner Fall for fly fishing on the Sac. We'll be extending the fishing/lodging special for those who book before sept. 1st. $200.00 per angler covers a full day drift boating, lodging in our guest house, breakfast, and lunch on the water.
